If Luke Skywalker, FNO uses twin blasters 20 and gets a crit against an adjacent character, does flurry work? If so, does he use his +14 melee atk or the +11 from the blasters? Rules keep bumping up against common sense in my head...

Luke Skywalker, First of the New Order is part of the new epic v-set.

@ Sithborg - Is this based on common sense or is there a precedent? I'm trying to think of another situation where a character can effectively "choose" among two types of attacks. I'm all for the common sense solution, but for legalistic types, flurry doesn't specify the nature of the attack. The situation arose when Luke, unsupported by CEs needed desperately to move and make multiple attacks. Dropping two sets of three force points (Use the Force) basically guaranteed the four attacks. But melee vs. non-melee made all the difference for his opponent trying to avoid damage.

There is no real strong precedent. But the intention is exactly as Scott wrote it. You keep using the TB20 stats in this scenario.

Yeah, there has been no real precedent. Greivious and Ben couldn't get Flurry. What has been ruled, is that the Blaster/Twin Blaster replaces the stats for the attack, which would still be replaces when Flurry triggers, since it is still part of the attack. There are a few scenarios that I see that have a little less precedent to guide me, but I don't see it being too much of a problem.

Thanks guys. I could play that same squad a thousand times and probably never be in that predicament again, but I guess that's part of the reason we keep playing...

ALSO: Does Twin Blaster/Flurry trigger another Twin Blaster?

ie: Twin Blaster + UTF + UTF (w/ MotF) for a total of 6 blaster attacks (assuming there are no additional Flurries).

No, as Twin Blaster does not actually grant Twin, so Flurry only grants one extra attack.
