We will see.
We will never see Yoda's species, nor do I think they necessarily have a last name.
Pretty certain we will get a lot of Palpatine stuff in the new Plaguis novel.

It's no wonder Lucas gets upset about certain EU things. There's just some things Lucas didn't want to have revealed, And neither do I . Yodas Species is one of those. for me, Han Solos origin is also one of those. Im glad he left that out of ROTS. In any Case StarWarsNicolas12, Welcome to the forums

Well, I could say Palpatine was never the Emperor, Vader was really Obi-Wan in disguise (and the old guy who found Luke was really Anakin) and Yoda tranfered universes from the Muppets to the SW Universe. But that doesn't mean it's true. :D Definied canon is based soley on the books and movies (and cartoons?) if I remember correctly.

If you ever wanna look stuff like that up check wookiepedia
It's a great site with tons of minute detail that wins trivia :)
For instance, jango, boba and all the clones were 1.83 meters tall

If it's SuperShadow, that is the most unreliable website for all of Star Wars. It's basically a guy in NC that makes up fanfiction and spouts it as truth to the masses. Most of the forums do not allow people to even bring up anything mentioned on the website.

Although it has tons of detail (and I use it myself on a regular basis), Wookieepedia isn't exactly completely accurate either. It's a great starting point for research, but just as it would be a mistake to use Wikipedia as a primary resource in a research project, it's a mistake to use Wookieepedia as a final stop.

I've seen a good bit on Wookieepedia thats not completely spot on, and then sometimes stuff that looks questionable but happens to be correct. There are a ton of sources for SW, the real thing is whether they are all sited in each article to help verify anything out of the ordinary. It can be hard to keep up.

I've seen some errors on wookiepedia but then I've also seen errors in official star wars sources.....
Heh, I'm so "obsessed with star wars" that I found a factual error in the book/game obsessed with star wars haha
Kudos to whoever can find the one

There was a book with several thousand trivia questions in and an electronic component that kept track of your score, it was called "obsessed with star wars"
There was a question about jango fett and in it the book mistakenly says that his entire family was killed by the death watch, which is false as his sister lives.....so I beat a trivia book on trivia

The book where Arla (Order 66) was revealed to be alive was published only a few weeks before the trivia book was.
