With the awkward (but cool) shape of the epic cards, I am having trouble keeping them from getting a bit dinged up. My usual system is putting the cards I want to protect in soft toploaders, so has anyone found a good way to keep the shape of these cards up?

They are about 3" x 5" in size. I haven't had time to check BCW Supplies (sp?) but I'm hoping to find hard toploaders that are a good fit there. Soft sleeves would be a bonus.

There are 3"x5" top-loaders. Unfortunately the top-loaders themselves measure 3"x5" on the outside edges, so they're the exact same size as the cards, and thus too small.

There's a slightly larger top-loader, which fits the cards exactly length-wise, but leaves a good half inch on the side.

There are apparently 3"x5" deck protectors, but I'm not sure if they hold a 3"x5" card, or if they measure 3"x5" on the outside edge, like the top-loaders. They also apparently only come with a black back or magic-logo back.

They have 3x5" (interior size) and 3.5x5" toploaders in packs of 25: http://www.bcwsupplies.com/products/toploaders/sortby1-default_sorting-asc-default_sorting.htm

I don't have the epic cards to measure, but the descriptions at BCW shows the interior and exterior measurements so you can confirm from that. Otherwise, on page 3 from the link, they have 4x6" and 6x4" (same size, but different orientation of the slot) which should work as well if a little large.

For the AT-AT card, I slit the left/right edge of two regular sleeves and packing-taped the now open sides together. Fits well and the sleeves match my other cards.

I haven't done it yet for Epic cards (but will), but assume it will work just fine.

I will eventually hunt down some toploaders that are a better fit like the ones Squid was talking about, but I found these at my local game store. They work good even though they're a bit too big.

sdexam in Hong Kong had perfectly sized top-loaders, I've been looking around but haven't found them myself.

I did pick up Name Card Holders (these are like convention tag holders) which are pretty much perfectly sized. They are pretty soft, and you can even hang them around your neck if you are so inclined.

Haha... whoops hope I'm not spoiling anything for anyone...
I actually scanned this in a while ago because "ChadB" wanted to know the stats on those two cards before we played our Epic duo game in Seattle. Just made sense to recycle the image for this thread BigGrin

I'm trying the same thing. I think the AT-At one should work. At least I'm hoping.

I picked up a set of 24 card sleeves that fit 3.5"x5" cards. the width is perfect, but the tops of the epic cards are right there at the opening of the sleeves.

Almost perfect otherwise.

Good enough I suppose.. for now Glare

Still haven't found one we love yet, but our group has placed them back-to-back in the protector we have as it saves protectors and are easy to flip and access the flipside mini's stats.
