I'm sitting here watching Episode I in beautiful HD glory. The sound is amazing. I just wish I was watching Empire instead, but we must keep the kids happy!

I assume that whoever sold it to you was unaware that they broke the release date?

Ah, I was unaware that the PAL region released earlier than NTSC for the movies. Usually it's the same or the other way around. It also doesn't help that I pay little attention to a person's location field unless they draw attention to it.

Ive already watched ANH and ESB and they are just simply beautiful. I like the book type holder they come in as well, the artwork is great. I got mine at Bestbuy who were giving away t-shirts free with purchase. Not a real nice shirt just Vader with Star Wars logo but its free so who can complain. If you get them now they are 79.99, if you wait they will eventually go to the reg price of 139.00 which would still be worth it considering how awesome they are.

Yeah I've watched TPM and ESB fully, and I've watch 'highlights' from all the others. They are gorgeous.

The new dialogue added in ROTJ is a little lame, but not as bad as I first feared.

There are some real treasures in the deleted scenes.

I picked up my copy at WalMart in my Boba Fett costume. With the Blu-Ray I got a awsome Boba Fett poster with him riding Boga.

I don't know. I'm kind of nostalgic myself (even at age 18), and I couldn't even stand the digitally remastered trilogy that came out a couple years ago on DVD. My dad owns the original release Laser Discs of the movies of the original Trilogy, and I still like those better than the remastered ones... especially considering the whole Han-Greedo debacle (and know all the audio changes made to the Blu-Ray version)... Are the original (and i mean truly original, no fixes at all) movies even on DVD or do you have to own a VHS for that? I had them on VHS but got rid of them along with the player.

Looking forward to seeing them on BluRay though, even with all the annoying little tweaks they have put them through over the years.

There was a limited DVD release of the movies where the discs contained both the original and the enhanced versions of the movie. The Episodes had to be purchased individually though as the boxsets only contained the enhanced editions.
