Can a Vong firebreather use flamethrower against an adjacent diplomat? Im assuming no since it explicitly says Attacks but there is always a chance of some form of errata.

Indiscriminate essentially ignores diplomat when making an attack.
Diplomat says "cannot be targeted or attacked". You target for flamethrower. But flamethrower replaces attacks.
Real-world logic says that the Breather cannot flame but can attack. We will wait for the official ruling.
Good question.

Indiscriminate only applies to attacks.

Thanks. On a side note, if my Vong FB did a Charging Assault on an adjacent Jedi Diplomat, would he lose his Aggressive Negotiations as soon as I attack? Or does he still maintain it until he attacks? Same with characters with Its A Trap!, Ambush, Backlash

They lose Diplomat once they are attacked or targetted. Indiscriminate gets around the granted Diplomat. This should hopefully be more clear with the upcoming glossary supplement.

So, just for clarification, Indiscriminate gets around diplomat? Had the question brought to me not too long ago.
