One that deals with countering Supressed CEs isn't specifically geared to Bastila - she's just the biggest factor in that department, distraction and disruptive are also subject. While some CEs have gotten out of hand suppressing them in such an extreme way isn't really good for the game as a whole. I for one would like to see BD/Stormtrooper/Clone Trooper hordes being a bit more competative, and the only way to do that legitimately is through CEs (yeah you could restat all the characters to "super trooper" status, but that would be ridiculous). Perhaps an SA where supressed CEs end up with a limited range (3 squares?) or other such effect. that way the CE is still supressed, but not invalid. This is an idea that I've actually always liked, from before the v-sets were even a thing. Basically an anti-disruptive bubble, so Disruption and ABM are still very powerful by cancelling anything outside the bubble, but it tempers them a little bit. Similar to how Ysalimiri works against ABM by giving you some small bubbles of area where you can still get your CEs. Bolster Communications (Commander Effects cannot be suppressed within 6 squares of this character) So to get something like Evade from Rieekan while ABM is up, you have to have both Rieekan and the character gaining Evade within 6 squares. This still makes ABM quite good, since it reins you in to that 6 square Bubble, but doesn't completely remove it. Disruption would get hit a little more, but would still obviously be good against things like General Skywalker squads to prevent the Momentum hits or any kind of swap, since the character with Bolster Communications probably won't be able to be within 6 of Skywalker/Panaka AND the character it's effecting. And of course, since you have to count range, the character with Bolster Communications has to be at least a little exposed (aka not just locked in a room somewhere), so it would be reasonable to close in and kill them.

wannabe mexican posted this to the V-Set 4 suggestions thread:
"If there is a V-Set mini of Ysanne Isard, I have been playing around with this ability:
Krytos Virus: Before activating, all non-human, living enemies take 10 damage. Save 6. "
I don't know if it was intentional, but this would completely nerf Bastila since she would have to roll a save.

She's human though. From a game rules perspective that would require a lot of "errata" to classify just who is human.

Here's another approach to boardwide Force Defense:
Strong Force Presence X - Whenever an enemy uses a force power, the enemy may choose to spend extra force points at the same time. This character may spend 2X force points to cancel the force power, where X is the total number of force points spent by the enemy.
This introduces a few new aspects:
* It always costs twice as much to cancel a force power as it costs to activate it, which is a pretty strong price to pay - appropriate for a strong power like boardwide force cancel. * If the enemy has more than half as many force points as the character with Strong Force Presence X, then they can spend them all to guarantee that they are not cancelled. * The enemy might spend extra force points unnecessarily if you aren't planning to cancel them anyway.

a seppy squad heavy on SA, instead of CE would be a counter for Bastila. with seppy reserves 20 you could bring in whorm if you not facing her.
