I have a couple of questions reguarding Mara Jade and her lightsaber special ability Options

I just got done playing with my friend and he had Darth Vader, Legacy of the Force and I pitted Mara Jade Jedi against him. Now because Mara had the lightsaber special ability she does not kick in Djem So Style correct? But can he use lightsaber reflect? We are wondering if we played this right because I thought I heard that because of her not having a melee attack that Djem So doesn't work.

You played it correctly. Vader LOTF cannot use Djem So against Mara Jade Jedi but can indeed use LS Reflect.
