If I were usinf Zannah or Obi Wan, how would this power work in a regional tourney or Gen Con?

Currently, for the Regional and Gen Con venues, SSM only works on non-melee attacks.

Jester is correct, except that it works for Non-Melee Attacks for all sanctioned tournament plays. Obviously if you're not doing a sanctioned game, it can be played as written on card. There is talk right now to actually removing the "tournament errata" for all games, there is a thread in General where you can report your games and describe how a game went with whatever version of SSM you used.

Ah yeah. Thanks. I knew that but in my brain couldn't work out why Mastery is better. But it has all clicked.
