If both players are using characters with Master Tactician and one of the players also has a character with Tactician +/- X, does Tactician come into play for the purposes of both initiative and reserves?

from master tactician " Roll for initiative as normal, except you automatically choose who goes first unless you roll a 1. Tied initiative checks are still rerolled. If more than one squad has a character with Master Tactician, the player with the highest initiative roll among them chooses who goes first."

tactician +X/-X only states that add +X/-X to the roll.

They are two differents abilities so I think the two of them would come into play especially for
both initiative and reserves. Correct me If I'm Wrong.BlooMilk

This is correct. Tactician would still affect the roll, even if you have Master Tactician.

That makes sense due to Tactician adding to the roll. So it could give someone a needed edge in some cases. Yet another reason why Oldman Han is becoming more valuable.

I didn't think someone would have built a squad with MT and Tactician until I saw one of the ones I built for the Lemoyne tournament this comming Saturday.

Sincerely,
