Which ability is better? If you had two identical characters one with intuition and the other with mobile which do you think would cost more? Just curious. I kind of think now that mobile is so easy to get from commanders intuition is better.

Honestly, it depends on what other abilities the character would have and their stats. For instance, if they had Double Attack, I'd prefer intuition, whereas if they had Twin Attack, I'd prefer Mobile Attack.

Mobile is given out like cheap candy, Intuition is much more rarer.

The faction is also an important factor. Intuition with a swap or Levitate mechanic is especially effective. A character in a faction that has easy access to Mobile should not have its cost affected much by its inclusion. If the character in question is Fringe then it is a moot point.

I think it's tough to say one is "better" than the other. Each has it's place. For example, I think the ideal piece for Mobile Attack (as opposed to GMA) is a low-HP shooter without Double Attack. Pop out, take a shot, run back into hiding. Mobile on a melee piece isn't going to get as much use (unless you run in and finish the opponent off, your facing an attack of opportunity on the way out).
Intuition, on the other hand, seems best when on a character with decent defenses, so they can move at the beginning of the turn, risk getting shot at, and still survive to make their attack. One of the downsides of Intuition is that it influences activation order more significantly. On the other hand, it does one thing that Mobile Attack never does: it increases range. It's an EXTRA 6 squares, not your original six cut up. If you want to get to the fight fast, increasing your potential movement by 50% is a very nice edge.
To answer the original question, all things being equal, I think the character with Intuition is going to cost more. Right or wrong, I think it's perceived as the ability with more options. It's also important to note that that are a ton of ways to add Mobile Attack (thus de-valuing it) but no way to add Intuition (which is on significantly fewer pieces to begin with).
