Hey, gang, I've been out of the picture for a while. The cost of mouse droids has plummeted. Has a new figure been released with Booming Voice or something, or has the market just generally gone soft for SWM? On top of that, there's been a promo ugnaught on eBay for a couple weeks with no takers. What gives?

There's no new piece with Booming Voice, although there are new Mandalorian pieces coming out with relay orders in the next v-set. Apparently, there is also going to be some pieces that try to dissuade players from running too many mouse droids as 2 point blockers in their squads.
I think the main reason is that there are still a lot of Imperial Entanglements boosters floating around in Target Liquidation sales; most people are reporting that it's the only set still available, and a lot of the pieces from it are now pretty cheap - a lot of its useful rares are under $1, and good VRs like Luke Rebel Commando and Xizor are down to around $5. I think generally prices are still going down over all the sets, especially the later ones, but it's exacerbated for Imperial Entanglements pieces because of oversupply of that particular set. Personally, I'm holding out for a cheap Palpatine on Throne.

Where did you hear about these dissuaders of using mouse droids? I would love to read that thread/listen to that podcast?

It was on SHNN, maybe around a month or two ago. I think it was maybe the September 22 one where they previewed the Huntress, or the October 6 one where they previewed the Bothan Saboteur, but I'm kind of guessing!
