Yo.

Well, we're in the middle of our SWM season in the Save11 part of NZ and one of the things we are doing is trying to work more with proper map selections. As part of that I made a .pdf of all the maps so people could see at a glance what maps were what. Its got a coupl'a issues wi' it but its not too bad. Pretty much, I've tried to show the map, what list its on, what are its names and where it came from. Someone over here suggested that you guys might want to use it so I thought I'd make it available to y'all.

I want to do a new version when the maplists change to incorporate Celestial's inclusions so, if you spot anything (I know of one big mistake), lemme know - or if you have any suggestions, fire away.

SWM Official Maplist (August 2011) from Save11/NZ

WOW! This is fantastic. And it may deserve a "sticky"

(This is especially useful to me. It will help coordinate/clarify the map situation when travel to a friends place to play minis)

Love it!

I like how the WotC maps have multiple names since they're known by multiple names.

I'd also add the alternate names for the JC maps. Official names/Vassal names/Floor rules names are not necessarily the same thing.

I have the following variations:

Code:
MP1 Dantooine Jedi Enclave    Jedi Enclave
MP1 Dxun Mandalorian Camp    Dxun Camp
MP1 Felucia    Felucia
MP1 Hoth Echo Base    Echo Base
MP1 Taris Lower City    Taris Lower City
MP1 Theed    Theed Palace
MP2 Abandoned Casino    Old Casino
MP2 Anchorhead    Anchorhead
MP2 BlackPit Slums    Black Pit Slums
MP2 Dantooine    Khoonda
MP2 Kashyyyk    Kashyyyk Treetop City
MP2 Korriban    Korriban
MP2 Mustafar    Mustafar
MP2 Ugnaught Mines    Ugnaught Mines
Mos Eisley Residence    Desert Starport D, Desert Starport 1, Cantina
Mos Eisley Town Hall    Desert Starport C, Desert Starport 2, Office
Mos Eisley Docking Bay    Desert Starport B, Desert Starport 3
Mos Eisley Marketplace    Desert Starport A, Desert Starport 4
    Star Forge    Dark Forge
Outer Rim Fueling Station    Truck Stop
    Yavin Sanctuary    Forest Sanctuary
    Yavin Ruins    Forest Ruins
MP4 War Academy    Grand Atrium
MP4 Spynet HQ    Bothan Spynet
MP4 Peaceful City    Peaceful City
MP4 Asteroid Mining Complex    Spicemines of Kessel
MP4 Asteroid Base    Asteroid Base
MP4 Royal Palace    Royal Palace
MP4 Gangster's Palace    Jabba's Palace
MP4 Ice World Citadel    Rhen Var Citadel

Slight correction - Smuggler's Base was not part of JC Map Pack 1.

Looking forward to it. That PDF is awesome.

Oh - one other change I would make. Mapmaker's maps have consistent official names according to what is printed on the map itself and how mapsofmastery.com markets them. I would make those names the primary names. For example, "Shipping Center" should be the secondary name and "Offworld Shipping Center" should be the primary name.

The other side of Cantina is called Rebel Fortress, or is it Stronghold?

I don't know why, but the Floor Rules say "Modular Base" in reference to the Rebel Stronghold/Fortress.

Cool as... but, what are the names of the packs? (ie. Map Pack 4, Mass Transit II, League Kit #2 etc.)

The Floor Rules refer to them as "JC League Kit 1", "JC League Kit 2", etc. I'm not sure about those names though. They were not marketed with that name, and they're all under the ArmoredCartographers name, not the JediCartographer name. They were marketed with long, difficult names including both map names:

"Listening Post/Commercial Spaceport"
"Sinkhole World/Outlaw City"
etc.

They're sold at MiniatureMarket.com: e.g. http://www.miniaturemarket.com/swac-sinklaw.html

Personally, I would love it if AC's last 8 maps were now marketed together in "Map Pack 5". Even if not sold at a discount, it would be easier for reference, since they've all come out since Map Pack 4. But that's just my wish.

Oh - I was just talking about the AC maps. Those two by Christopher West are in Mass Transit III from Maps of Mastery.
