1. Just had this come up in a game today, if someone with ssm is hit by a character with poison and makes the save for the attack, does the character with ssm still have to roll for poison?
2. I want to make sure of this, but could a character with accurate shot hit wuhrer?

1. Officially, yes. However, it really has no significance whether it was rolled or not. 2. Yes, since Accurate can allow a character to attack a character even if they are not the nearest enemy.

Pretty much the only time it would have significance is if Darth Vader, Dark Jedi is on the squad as his CE can trigger on a save roll. But considering how widely used he is...

we need more commander effects like that vader. nothing beats the old games with vader dark jedi killing off more characters in your squad than your opponent.
If i am the acting player, as per the rules, can i force my opponent to make the poison save before they make the block save?

I believe that the player making the saves would become the acting player (they are now acting) and could choose the order of the saves as they are both "when hit" saves.
This is similar to being able to choose which order you roll fro grenades/sith sorcery/other area effect saves.

really so all this time ive been playing that the player whose turn it is is the acting player. cause when its my turn i always tell my opponent (wife) which order to resolve them in, and on her turn she tells me.

Generally, the acting player is the initiating an action, so it can go back and forth a bit. I would say the choice of making the saves would be the defending player's choice.
