Ok here is my question. I understand how strafe works and i am working on a squad right notw that has a strafe character and Princess leia rebel hero in it. How does the interaction work with strafe and Leias commander effect. My thinking is that it works one of 2 ways:
1. Doesnt interact at all if they are strafing
2. Allows them to change their final destination point.
Thanks in advance fro any information you can give.

You can still use Strafe Attack, but you can't change the destination point. The path can always change.

Here is another question regarding her CE. Suppose a character ends their turn adjacent to a door. Then as per her CE they move away from the door..... IS the door opened or closed? The only reason I ask is I haven't figured out if her CE takes place literally after her turn, or if it takes place at the end of the movement.

I do beleive you are referring to a different Leia, as Rebel Hero's CE applies during an attack, which happens within a turn, thus before you check for doors.
If you are referring to Princess Leia, Senator, then you can choose to resolve her CE or the door check in whatever order you want, since they are simultaneous. Was your first question also about this Leia?

Yeah, I meant the Senator. I just got them confused. So..... Han Smuggler ends next to the door.... Moves away from it at the end of his turn so the door stays open.... The door is always open until the end of his next turn, where he could just pop out and shoot, and then the door closes? Am I saying/understanding this correctly?

The door would stay open till the next character's (enemy or ally) turn is over, when doors are checked again.
