Zero CE dependency, and customizable. Nice bag of tricks, and multiple ways to use them. Mara can last a good bit longer with VCA6, if you go that route with Vergere. A bit higher damage output would be nice, but looks pretty good, and fun to play. I like it. ThumpUp

I like it a lot. Vergere is a really solid piece, and can help out a few different folks on this team both with Force Spirit and the Crab Armor. Crab Armor on Mara seems great.

Jacen can be a monster and is one of my favorite NR pieces. You've got tricks and flexibility and I like that a lot. The Kel Dor is interesting if for nothing else than blowing up near people. And as Swinefeld said no CE Dependence!

Yeah this looks like a really neat squad concept! I'm always on the lookout for fun NR squad building concepts. My only concern is the low damage output.

I think you need Wedge with Jacen Solo, otherwise he's exposed against shooters. You're paying for all these neat defensive abilities, like Parry, Mettle, and Crab Armor (assuming you give him all the bonuses), so I reckon you need to go the whole way and give him evade as well. I do like the idea of giving Mara Crab Armor though - if it keeps her alive for an extra Assault, that's awesome.

Someone ran a similar squad at LowerHuttACon12, with the new Corran Horn, Jacen, Vergere, Ganner, Wedge, and Dodonna. It didn't end up placing that highly, despite being run by a good player, but it was absolutely horrible to play against.....

I would be giving Mara the VCA6, keep her alive to get some more damage output. I would like to out wedge in as well, but I'd have to take out kel dor and Luke.
Trying to find the next good non-CE dependence squad!

Great idea! I only just bought Mara and hadn't thought of giving her Crab Armor yet. I really like the idea of her lasting longer. It's always so disappointing when she dies, which can happen early since she has a big target on her.
