So first question, the new squib trader gives out relay orders and it got me thinking. Would the character with relay orders be able to receive distant commander effects as well? Or is he merely counting distance?

Second question, I was browsing the squad forum and came across an interesting squad. If Exar Kun transfers essence on Lord Kaan, does he still get his thought bomb blast? Would Kun be affected?

1) A character does not benefit from their own relay orders.

2) Yes, thought Bomb can be triggered if you Transfer Essence into Kaan. Exar Kun would not be affected as thought bomb and all subsequent effects would be resolved before placing Exar into the new square.
