Question number 1. If Bastilas ABM is active, and Han GH shoots her as a first activation in a round.... Can the person controlling the NR squad decide to only activate 1? My guess is no but it came up and so now I'm just curious.
Question 2. In Imps/Seps?Mandos, If the Commander who allows you to activate 3 can see an enemy, can you activate 3 instead of just 1? I always thought you couldn't change the number of acts if you went first, but last night someone told me different.
And the last 1... and most interesting, Question 3. I played a Silri Sith squad last night where they gave her Sith Rage. Melee Reach 2 says for all purposes she is adjacent while within 2 squares. So if she Sith Rages 2 squares away... Can Mace ( Or any other character) Force Absorb it? I'm mixed in my feelings on this one as I can see it going either way.
Thanks for the help, you guys are great!

1. well technically if you you are attacking first thing in the round you are only activating 1 in the first place.
2. Maar tuuk says you can activate 1 additional or less. With tarkin you can activate 3 because of the way it is worded. In mandos i am not sure since it says you may activate 2 or 3 figures.
3 i believe no, because she is counted as adjacent for the purposes of attacks. granted you can riposte or djem-so, however they dont require you to be adjacent just attacked in melee.

1. It doesn't matter in NR, as Dodonna has no effect on the one activation for first phase. Now, if you are talking about the beginning of any other phase, the answer is no, as the CE's that affec the number of activations you can take in a phase are determined/declared at the beginning of the phase, before you take a turn. 2. The way Tarkin/Mar Tuuk/Mando Tactician work is that they get around the 1 activation on the first phase rule. 3. No, as it happens before the attack, thus before MR 2 is active.
