Are you talking about a 4 character limit, or just competitive 200 point squads? If the latter: On most maps, you're going to seriously struggle against any squad with door control. So you really need to throw in some Ugnaught Demolitionists, an R7, or something similar. I think Grand Master Luke Skywalker needs help to get around, so he can do his full triple/twin, so Ganner Rhysode with Levitation is a good choice with him. To be honest, I don't think any Grand Master Luke Skywalker squad is going to be able to foot it with most other top level squads - he's a nightmare for all-melee squads, with his Djem So Mastery, but he's going to have problems against most other top level squads. I think something like http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/90854/grand-tossing-pusher--3-1-in-team-events- is about as good as he gets. But he's not that good for 115 points. Welcome to the forums! Sorry if the above sounds didactic or too hard-core - I remember posting my first squad a couple of years ago, and it getting picked apart by Greentime - it seemed a bit harsh at the time, but in retrospect it was helpful.

ok thanks for the feedback i was just seeing if this kind of low-member squad could actually beat anything ;) think i should take out nym? or just replace the ranger with a few ugnaughts. i also have a lobot laying around, maybe i should just take out nym and fill the void with lower level shooters?

There are low activation squads doing well in some tournaments; you can get away with 8-10 activations in some builds, but you still need some door control pieces for a competitive game.
I'd definitely drop Nym - he's not a very good piece for 48 points. Lobot's a really good idea. Leia does work well with Luke, but you probably need some Mouse Droids so you can keep her back, otherwise your opponent will try and go after her first.

Soon, not now but soon. GMLS will be a very interesting option. For now though I suggest this.
115 GMLS 29 Ganner Rhysode 22 C3Po-R2D2, Galactic Heroes 20 Yoda, Force Spirit 8 R7 x2 Uggies.
Ganner Levitates Luke around. Luke gets mettle + Extra Force points from Yoda. R2 Bodyguards Luke and Disrupts.

GMLS was the first piece I ever got from SWM and to this day is one of my favorites. Weeks wrote: 115 GMLS 29 Ganner Rhysode 22 C3Po-R2D2, Galactic Heroes 20 Yoda, Force Spirit 8 R7 x2 Uggies.

I've always wanted to try Yoda and GMLS, and this looks like a solid squad to do that in. R2 and 3P0 seem like a fun combo with Luke. This was my go to Grand Master Luke squad for a long time: Grand Master Luke Skywalker Leia Skywalker, Jedi Knight Cade Skywalker, Padawan Human Bodyguard Human Bodyguard General Dodonna Mouse Droid 2X Ugnaught Demolitionist Cade and Leia help keep Luke alive for as long as possible with Heal, Essence of Life, and re-rolls. Bodyguards protect Leia or Luke depending on who is most vulnerable at the time. Dodonna for temp control. You could also cut Dodonna for pure activations of either more Mice or Ugnaughts. An Alt build would be GMLS Leia Cade Lobot Dodonna Ugnaught Lobot adds some override and you can bring in whatever Fringe tech you might need (bodyguards etc)
