Hello everyone, I have only played a couple of times over the last 3 years or so (maybe 15 games) and I know most of what is going on; howevr, thinking about playing in a tournament soon and I want to make an army I have made. So any suggestions about which one would be good for a semi-newbie would be helpful. I know it must be annoying to listen to all the newcomers ask for advice, but than again you are free to just say "screw you" Just like I do to all the soccer players on my team when they ask questions :) http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/117643/wookie-blitzkrieghttp://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/118073/merciless-stealthhttp://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/117826/wrath-of-the-light-side

Do you have list of the squads you want us to look at? It'd be helpful if you put them in your initial post. If you want to read more about what's been played in Regionals, to help you decide what type of squad you might want to run, it's well worth having a look at Weeks' post on this thread on Gamers: http://www.swmgamers.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=15450&start=40 (you have to scroll down a couple of posts).

Jak's basic squad info-include melee pieces, but more shooters/must have override/have at least one accurate shooter/stealth is very good/
it takes more than a good squad to win. it takes brains & luck, lots of luck.
once you have a squad you like , play it as often as possible for practice for the tourny.

Other people know more than me (I'm just a New Zealander, so don't play at the highest level...), but I think: i) The Wookiee one looks good to me. It's my favourite of the three. ii) With the Imperial one, I'd probably rather go for more of a General Weir/Storm Commando build - they've been doing really well at Regionals, and you're kind of halfway there with what you've got. I think this one is great: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/117511/-weir-thering-the-storm--pa-regional-winner, although there are variants out there with less power and more tech, like General Veers for Accurate Shot. iii) That Mace squad looks fine. Then it depends on what you think you're going to face - if you think you're going to see lots of disruptive, that Rebel team's not so good, while if you see lots of Vong or heavy shooter squads, Mace isn't so good.
