In what format does the big D completely kill the target? I know in regular constructed games it does, but what about Epic duos or Tile wars?

I believe it is always lethal although I think some formats remove it because of how swingy it is.

I believe Disentegration is ignored in Dynamic Duo and Epic Duo tournaments.

Yeah, it's treated as a normal critical hit so in effect, you act as if it's not even on the card as it does nothing but get you excited and the huge letdown of "oh, wait, nevermind..."

It is a killer in duo formats where one roll can mean game over. A scary thing is that while Disintegrate doesn't work I believe Betrayal does work so with one bad roll not only do you lose a piece it goes over to the other side for a 3:1 advantage.
