I have 130 or so Pieces.. What is big enough to fit them? I used a big green tote that I tossed them all in. Most are durable enough to survive that. Then again, I had 1000+ and the only ones in the tote were c/uc. Rares/VR's got their own tacklebox.

I started with a few tackle boxes but grew into parts-organizer boxes pretty quickly. I think I now have 12 (maybe it's 14). Mid-sized factions have their own box, but some of the larger ones (Imps, Rep, Fringe) take up more than one. Some of the smaller factions share. A few of the cases are reserved for HeroClix, DDM and other minis that look Star Wars-y (since I typically use my minis for RPGing more than mini-ing).
Within each box, I generally break it down by set, although sometimes multiple sets go in the same bucket, based on whether a set only had a few pieces (for example, I think the Vong are actually just divided into two sections).
All cards are in cardboard card boxes.
It's a clunky system, but it kinda works.

You can get these at any sporting goods store that sells fishing product. They are roughly $6.49 at the local MC Sports unless they are on sale (I have gotten them up to 25% off before).
The uniformity makes it quite easy to stack the cases as well.
BountyHunter H Best storage there is. I have mine divided in to factions and two 'jedi boxes' they also hold cards in there too!

When I can find them (if ever) my favorites are the Jammers Jumbo Card Cases
They have six sections divided by plastic. There are smaller versions with 5 sections, but the 6 are best for me. My huges are separated into Wausau Paper Boxes, most of my small minis are in jammers cases or clear tackle boxes, but my dejariks are just tossed into some box, and my Fringe Rares are in my RotS starter box which I have taped (somehow very effectively) up cardboard walls between different parts. My AT-AT sits in its box, until I bring it out and put it next to my dog since they are about the same size.

But i dont sugest everyone doing it like i do, because i seperate them out by piece IE: clone troopers in one spot, Elite Clone Troopers in another, and so on.(I have OCD a LIttle) This is pretty much my strategy as well. Every so often I find myself needing to add another box or two to maintain the organizational plan. Ya I just hit the 3000 mark myself as well. I use the plastic Rubber Maid containers. Smaller containers in the larger ones. Inside the containers I use zip-lock bags. Not sure about your guys areas but here the tackle boxes tend to get a little pricey. Otherwise I'd do that too. What I'm thinking of doing is picking up a tackle box or two just for customizing. Once you get this high in the count it can be a really big pain in the butt to re-organize. I was at it for a week straight. When I was almost done I found a binder of cards I had forgotten. I could have cried! My son and brother want me to change up how we store the cards as well. I went from top-loader sheets to card boxes, but it didn't work out to well for us. We are going back to the top-loader sheets. I've had to move my collection for the seventh time....Squelchy is getting tired of moving.

I currently have the cards in top-loader sheets and binders. One for Rep/Sep, Reb/Imp, Fringe, and then OR/Sith/Mando/NR/Vong. I know where to look, but is still tough to find specific cards at times as I don't have an optimal ordering system in place. At this point, when I rearrange the cards I think I'm going to go with one big card box and hard top-loaders (just cheap clear sleeves for the extra UC/C cards) Dantooine Base has templates for dividers, both by set and by faction. Not sure which way to go, maybe a combo of both.
