I ran this squad yesterday at the WI regionals and went 2-2. Both losses saw two Echani drop in round 2; one game due to bad luck on evades and the other due to bad tactics on my part.

--The Ol' Ladies--
41 Atris
33 Bastila Shan, Jedi Master
27 Brianna
66 Echani Handmaiden x3
16 Juggernaut War Droid
8 R7 Astromech Droid
9 Mouse Droid x3

(200pts. 11 activations)

I didn't really use the Juggernaut for it's door control or sonic stunner - it really just became a mobile single attacker/blocking piece, so I'm thinking it should be replaced for ?????.

Any suggestions to tweak it for continued competitve play would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I'd probably bring in Lobot for the Juggernaught, R7, and Mouse. Among other options, it means if you're playing against a low activation team, you can bring in a Czerka to boost Brianna's damage output:

It's a good squad. But, imo, the best squad with Echanis is still Imps.
However, I have been testing a squad with Mace Windu LotLS, Atris, 2 Echanis, and Foul (R2 as well, obviously). You can switch in another echani for foul if you prefer the extra firepower. I just think the echanis popping 80 on there own is good enough firepower. And, you have a great melee piece, as well as great movement.

I got to agree with TheHutts here. Lobot helps you greatly. Being able to grab Double Override or get good stuff like Tredwell Droids, Figrin Dann, or Bodyguards is pretty big.

Agree on Lobot and the ability to customize is big but the real question IMO is Brianna.

What is her impact?

Jak ran and almost identical squad at the OH regional and didn't do badly with it but Brianna seems to be fluff to me for 27 points. When you could elect to go with another Echani and pick up a Camaasi for gambit.

I like Brianna for the extra HP, Defense and Attack. PLUS she helps the Handmaidens with Lancers/melee threats with her riposte.

The lack of twin and evade do hurt her though.

I did think about suggesting a Jedi Seer instead of Brianna - the Seer does have evade, and is good against those Scout Trooper on Speeder Bikes that are big at the moment. But Brianna obviously synergises really well with Atris, and can put a lot of hurt on something with a Czerka helping.

another thought is to drop brianna for jaq rand, or stuckus

at one time I had greedo bh instead of mice, uggs, and noble

I do like the Seer over Brianna and he has Jedi Reflexes, 40 points is still too much IMO.

Thanks for the input so far. Riposte and synergy with atris CE is why I went with Brianna. I had thought about lobot too but figured between a board-wide disruption of enemy CEs (Thrawn swap, tempo control effects, & riekken) and the double riposte (anti lancer) the gain from lobot customizing would've been minimal.
