This was something Lefties brought up yesterday and had us wondering a bit. Can a character end their movement, mount on Thon, and then still attack?

I believe it would go: Move, attack and then mount. Just a guess though.

That's what I initially thought, but all mount says is: "This character can transport 1 Small or Medium ally who ends their move adjacent to it.", so I wanted to be sure since cause if you get to mount first that could definitely change things like legal targets and who has cover.

I don't see anything that prevents making an attack either way - just before or just after mounting. The end move condition has been met, and nothing is interrupting another action. -- I thought the same thing about the targeting implications - could come in handy. ps - Mount basically uses the Troop Cart rules

Yes, you can attack after you board a piece. You must board after your movement, so if you still have the ability to attack, it doesn't replace it.
