I'll try stirring, that's a good trick.

BigGrin this is for all you players with tournament experience.

Huh in 200 constructed, how many rounds to you think should be finished by the end of the hour?

Cursing games with less than 6 rounds are clearly played to slow IMO.

Confused what to you think?
Blink whats the most and least rounds you've completed in competition?

For me recently, when I've actually had games go to time, they've been at least 7-8 rounds. And any "slowness" has usually been caused by the other player. Of course I've been playing squads that don't have double digit activations, so that helps with alacrity. Personally, I think if you have a squad with a lot of activations then the onus is on you as a player to plan ahead and to know your squad so you aren't just sitting there thinking out moves while time whittles away.

generally i think 6 or more rounds is pretty good, however i can still see some squads taking longer. IF you are running a lancer and your opponent has alot of counters it can take longer, and if you are taking longer and your oppoenet is it can be a long match.

now as to my longest match, i had one at kokomo regional that we had 15 rounds. allot of missed attacks however.

I think 6+ is good for an hour. More is of course better, but it depends on map, matchup, players, and so on. The important thing is just trying to finish in time, regardless of the number of rounds; I've had games that are finished in 4 or 5 rounds, and I've been able to finish games with over a dozen rounds.

6+ is a good rule of thumb, though.
