I am really new to this; I only started a few months ago, and only when I had some spare time. I don’t really have any techniques to share. I did read the customizing minis series done by Ironlightsaber at the WOTC forums. I use a dry brush, and then do a wash with diluted black paint. Honestly I regret taking pictures this close up, you can really see a lot of the flaws! Oh well. Just a hobby. I am actually going to work on some vehicles next. I want to create a Mandalorian attack craft of my own design. I may design it on Photoshop and then create it from scratch. I have more minis I’m working on so I’ll post more in the future.

Ironlightsaber was pretty good in his day, although I was never a fan of the wash method; always looked like they just played in dirty water Taking pictures Ughhh ... the bane of my existance; I used to take 20 to get 1 good one .... and the Flaws You Can See ..... thumbdn] Koba will love you forever when you do pics of vehicles .... Didn't Legos do a Mando Assault vehicle?

The jedi on swoop was great! The paint job looked really detailed. I have just one criticism: Thrawn wasn't a Chiss commander. He was an Admiral for the imps, so giving most of his CE to the Chiss isn't really accurate. I like the rest of him, though. He really seems like a young Thrawn. BTW, surf rider, it's not "LEGOS". It's "LEGO". Like saying sheeps. LEGO is plural already.

If I'm not mistaken, that's a HeroClix 'Black Knight' from the Fantastic Forces set. I have one lying around somewhere and never considered it for customising. Hmm...

These are the stats for the Jedi General on Swoop. Let me know what you think needs tweaking. I really want him to be a foil for the Lancer droids. http://www.bloomilk.com/Custom/3724/jedi-general-on-swoop
