Great thread, I have a million new ideas now. Sorry no pics, but from Deathknell I was thinking the Grim Necromancer looks like a Sith Alchemist of some kind and I swear the Warforged Wizard could be modded into a Mando.

Not really a collectible game persay, but if you can find extras of the characters for FantasyFlight's Talisman Fantasy Board Game (Revised 4th Edition), some of those pieces can work really well (Druid -> Jedi). And in the expansions, the Dark Cultist is a good base for some Sith pieces (Alchemist/Inquisitor).

Something I picked up the other day at a local Walmart was 3 boosters of the Avengers Heroclix. ThumpUp Just checking the pictures on the booster packs I noticed three or so that would make excellent Sith/Jedi. Woot Now I just need some clear or colored Acrylic rods.

Huntress

Black Widow from heroclix

Darth Zannah

Invisible Woman from heroclix (I actually found this one in a 3-pack at 5 Below)

Any of these potential proxies for SWM?

200+ minis for $100, but mostly D&D/Horror type minis.

Tons of minis so I'm sure you could find something to make work. I'm sure you would get your money's worth. The best thing about using these for customs is that they are plastic, so much easier to mod than metal. I just see it as too much work, so I'm trying to ignore it.

Does anyone else just see a bunch of pictures of leaping squirrels? It says on the top "Image not available".

Yep. Someone tried to link images from coolstuffinc, but they aren't allowing it.

Since the subject has resurfaced, Mage Knight mini's have some excellant pieces that are readily convertible for use in the SWM universe.

I just pledged for these. I figure the cost is worth it when I can use them for D&D or Saga characters as well. Plus $25 for a figure transport case is ridiculous. Shame they won't ship until March.
