are booster cases a random draw cause my brother bought one for the Imperial Entanglements and he got
2 of each common 2 of each uncommon 1 of each rare all but 4 very rares
it would be nice to know you're not gonna get a whole bunch of one thing and none of another.
just thinking for when JA comes out.

The only random part are the VRs. You will end up needing only 4 VRs once you buy a case.

Buying a case is always the way to go if you're planning to collect the entire set anyways. It's usually MUCH cheaper to get a case, and you avoid the trouble of pulling duplicates.
In very, very rare scenarios, sometimes you may end up with duplicate Rares/Very Rares, but most of the time, I think that is because somewhere along the line somebody opened a case or two and swapped some boosters for some reason.
But with the 40 piece sets, you should get everything except 4 of the VRs in a single case. I love that about the 40 piece sets.
