A quick question... If Leia RC is brought into an NR squad via Jacen, will her CE operate?

No, as it only applies to Rebels. Affinity only changes the character's faction, not all faction references. Same goes for Princess Leia.

You could always team her up with Garm and get some Rebels that way.

I was hoping to further augment MJ, JM with Leia's CE. The reason why I asked, was when I was working on the squad her icon turned from Rebel to NR, which made me question the usage.

Jaina does change Leia's faction into NR, but again, has no effect on what her CE actually says.
