If Demagol is in a squad with Ulic-Qel Droma and Ulic is damaged and Demagol takes the damage through bodyguard because of Ulic's CE can Demagol use counter push 2 on the character that targeted Ulic (assuming the character is within 6)?

From my reading of it, yes, if that character is also a legal target for Demagol.
