Smuggler's luck + Reserves Options

I hate to make this question because I know it is in another topic, but I can not find it Blushing (Maybe a search tool would be useful)

If I am using an Smuggler's luck character + a character with some Immediate Reserves SA; in the case I roll a Reserves triggering number, may I choose between the two initiative rolls in order to activate the reserves or should I always use the highest roll for initiative? Or may I just roll once and skip the second roll?

You roll both at the same time, and choose either result. It doesn't have to be the highest.
