I've been out of the game almost a year, so this might be a dumb question:
Affinity (Rebel pilots may be in your squad regardless of faction)
Does Tycho's affinity apply to character's whose name is/contains Rebel pilots or does it apply to Rebel characters with the pilot special ability?

Both! If you have the pilot special ability or have it in your name, you are considered a pilot and are eligible for CEs or Tycho's affinity.
