Yo.

So, back in the day, they had a competition for designing a Vset Logo for Destiny of the Force. That first comp was won by an excellent submission from Armoredgear7 (backed up by a heap of other good ideas!) and when Renegades and Rogues came along, I threw my idea in for the second set logo comp. I ran against some strong competition but was amazed when my design was voted the choice. I was further honoured (not honored) when Ray began using the design in his signature, and then asked me to design something up for the Epic Tournament at Gencon 2011.

Wow. That was a while ago! Since then, there haven't been any competitions for logos (maybe Vset6?) but that hasn't stopped me playing around with ideas. Last year I was asked to do some table artwork for Gencon 2012 so I mashed together all my set logos into a bunch of table ideas. With the release of a spectacular Vset, I wanted to give my own thanks to those that have worked so hard on making this new era of SWM such an amazing success by giving a little something back - so it is these little logo offerings that I am making available to say a big phat "you rule!" (In the Maori culture of New Zealand, we call it "Koha" - pronounced Kore-ha - a reciprocal offering)

Here are the logos I have done thus far, the competition-winning Renegades and Rogues, the commissioned Epic set and a bunch of others that have made their way out of my head and onto computer. Enjoy!

...and because I appreciated that the Light side doesn't always appeal to some of our bretheren...

Soon to follow (when I get around to it!) are the Bounty Hunters Challenge and The Old Republic.

Mauri ora, mauri mate!

I just get a placeholder from Photobucket saying you deleted or moved the images.

Mostly Adobe Illustrator, but a fair dose of Photoshop too.

As I said above, I use a mash of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (CS4). I start off with an idea which often is a rough sketch on a small postit, or something similar... then I sit at the machine and mash at it until it starts to look like what I'm thinking.

Thanks for the kudos. Long live SWM!
