They all look fun to me.

Sharron (one of New Zealand's top players) has an almost identical squad to the Caedus/Bastila one, and last I heard it was still unbeaten. I think he has a couple of Sith Recruits in there instead of the R7.

I've been thinking about a double Smuggler squad. Looks fun to me, but it also feels like it might need some melee interference. But Speed 8, 120 damage shooters are tough. I'd probably at least drop the Senator for some extra activations.

I dunno- I think 9 activations is good enough considering how much damage the Smuglers can put out (he'll drop some enemy pieces real fast, at least that's usually how those type of games run for me).

I'm just curious, how is the Bastila/Caedus team unbeatable?

It's definitely not unbeatable! It just hadn't been beaten last time I talked to Sharron, I think he'd run it a decent number of times, but hopefully he'll stop by and provide some details. It is a nice combination, two reasonably scary Sith beatsticks together - Sith Bastila has Stealth and lots of movement - with Atton 'Jaq' Rand as shooter backup. I don't think it's going to dominate the meta (part of the reason Sharron's done well with it is that he's one of our best players), but I thought it was worth throwing into the discussion.

Ya, being good definitely helps. But I was just wondering how it's used to be so effective. Bastila seems really fragile to be a beatstick like Caedus.

My take on Bastilla is that she works better with another Sith Sorcery piece. She's a decent beatstick, but much better when your opponent can't move any of thier pieces. She's still good, as her pre-round movement is crazy, but her synergies don't lie with Caedus. For a few more points, you are better off using Caedus to set up a Maul Beatdown.
