Had this come up...does the +3 Attack granted by the Stormtrooper Officer's CE grant with the straight stat boost given by GAThrawn? Basically, my question is whether the conditional stat boost provided by the Stormie Officer counts as a non-stacking straight stat boost.
Stormie Officer: Trooper followers within 6 squares get +3 Attack if they do not move this turn.
GAT: Non-Unique followers within 6 squares get +3 Attack and +3 Defense

The conditions don't matter. What matters is if it is a +X to a stat or whether it grants an ability. So even while the two CE's have different conditions, they are both straight stat bonuses, thus do not stack.

I believe those would stack seeing how there is conditions on the Stormie Officer, how if you had GAT and Joliee Bindo the +3/3 and the +2/2 would not stack, but I could be wrong.

Thanks for clearing that up corranhorn so would GWOK's CE combine with something like Squad assault?

As sithborg said, its not the trigger that matters, its the type of bonus. Thrawn and the Storm officer both offer flat bonuses to stats, these don't stack, regardless of what conditions trigger the bonuses. Non-like bonuses (like a bonus granted from a CE in the form of a special ability like cunning attack or careful shot) would stack with the flat bonus granted by thrawn.

Or as an example you could say that Grand Admiral Thrawn's CE doesn't stack because it is a straight bonus but Thrawn (Mith'raw'naruodo)'s CE does because he grants Opportunist, a special ability.
