hi guys, following on from my last discussion (favourite and least favourite from each set), what is your favourite and least favourite pieces from each faction, and why (excluding v-sets) here are mine. Old Republic: Favourite= Jedi Consular + Jedi Sentinel. Worst= Squint Sith: Favourite= Darth Nihilius. Worst= Dark Side Enforcer mandos: Favourite= Mandalore the Indomitable + Blademaster. Worst= Death Watch raider (the amount of time he has joined my opponents squad  Republic: Favourite= All the Jedi from CS, RotS and CotF. Worst= Polis Massan Medic Seps: Favourite= Darth Maul, Champion of the Sith. Worst= Nute Gunray and Asajj Ventress, Strike Leader Rebel: Favourite= Han Solo and chewie from RS. Worst= Nien Nunb or Bith Rebel Imperial: Favourite= Hmmm, this is hard, but i will have to go with Darth Vader, jedi Hunter . Worst= Probe droid amd Mas Amedda New Republic: Favourite= Jacen, jaina and the original kyle Katarn. Worst= Grand master luke Vong: Favourite= Everything, especially Nom Anor and Yomin Carr. Worst= Far Outsider Fringe: Favourite= Boba Merc. Worst= mouse droids

Mouse droids are epic! Also, favorite doesn't have any u. Mas Amedda is also cool. Sounds like your talking more about originals, but I would have to say maul infiltrator seems more awesome then champion

they do have their uses but i just don't like it how a 3 point piece has a higher defence than a bunch of jedi

Worst= Klaatoinian Enforcer Did you know that people have actually done really well at competitive tournaments with Nute Gunray relatively recently? His CE doesn't hurt if you're running all droid squads, and he gives you flexibility over whether to use San Hill or not.

How??? nute gunray screws up the movement capabilities of your squad and gives them all -2 attack, who would want that. Sure the reserves are nice and if you loose initiate by rolling 1 you have some "compensation", which is alright, but he is more of a benefit to the opposition than you, which is stupid.

Nute Gunray's CE doesn't affect droids, so if you're only using droids you're all good. He gives you access to a choice of Separatist reinforcements to tailor your squad. that is a nice squad, but nute still isn't for me and even after the reinforcements have come in (and possibly the reserves), thats 10 points for nothing. he can be utilized well, but he is still in my bad books for the worst CE of all time

Well, I'll give this a shot.
Old Republic: I haven't played them enough to know, but based on my pieces,
-Best: Bastila Shan
-Worst: Not sure
Sith:
-Best: Darth Caedus. Love, love, love, love this piece and I am dangerous with him against my friends
-Worst: Sith Trooper?
Mandalorians: I can't really comment on them, as I only have 4 Mando pieces
Republic:
-Best: General Obi-Wan Kenobi/R2-D2, Astromech Droid/Yoda on Kybuck (tie), They're the most influential pieces in the game, so I can't really name any others.
-Worst: I'm sure there are crappy Clone Troopers out there
Separatists:
-Best: San Hill. Best piece I own for Separatist squads, hands down.
-Worst: I'm not sure... Separatist Commando?
Imperial:
-Best: Grand Admiral Thrawn. My favorite character, and I tend to play swap squads with him.
-Worst: Man, answering these is showing me I don't really think that badly of any non-fringe figures
Rebel:
-Best: General Dodonna. Most technical Rebel piece I own. If I had a good Han Cannon option, a Leia might make it up here, though
-Worst: Mon Calamari Medic is Rebel, isn't it?
New Republic:
-Best: Grand Master Luke Skywalker. Can't really do much better than that without V-sets.
-Worst: New Republic Trooper?
Yuuzhan Vong:
-Best: Nom Anor/Yomin Carr (tie), I use both of them a lot more than I use Tsavong Lah, and often together.
-Worst: Yuuzhan Vong Warrior. I hate naming a worst in my favorite faction, but they're it.
Fringe:
-Best: Cade Skywalker, Bounty Hunter. I've gotten so much more mileage out of him than my Boba BH. I've decimated entire squads with Cade.
-Worst: Nikto Soldier. I don't even like looking at its card when I'm sorting, rofl

Hmm, let me have a crack at this:
Old Republic:
Favourite: Satele Shan
Least favourite: Old Republic Recruit (one of the few times there is absolutely no reason to play this over the OR Guard
Sith:
Favourite: Darth Caedus, Sith Lord
Least Favourite: Darth Zannah (such a pain to play lol)
Republic:
Favourite: Captain Tarpals (love the squad dynamic)
Least favourate: Kazdan Paratus
Separatists:
Favourite: Cad Bane, BH
Least favourite: IG-Lancer Droid
Rebels:
Favourite: Han Solo, Rebel General
Least favourite: Verpine Tech
Imperials:
Favourite: Arica
Least favourite: Moff Morlish Veed
New Republic:
Favourite: Han Solo Galactic Hero
Least favourite: New Republic Veteran Trooper
Mandalorians:
Favourite: Kelborn (one of the top two peices of the vsets in my eyes)
Least favourite: Mandalorian Marauder
Yuuzhan Vong:
Favourite: Nei Rin
Least favourite: Vanilla YV Salbaturn
Fringe:
Favourite: Morrigan Corde
Least favourite: Klatooinian Assassin (i fjheioafjksd hate these guys lol)

I'm going by my fav, as opposed to what I think is the best.
Rebs: Favorite: Han Stormie/ Bothan Noble.
Least Favorite: Mon Cal Tech Spoecialist (That purple paintjob annoys me).
Imps: Vader's Apprentice, Unleashed.
Least Favorite: Moff Norlish Veed.
Republic: Fav: Original Quinlan Vos (I just love the simplicistic but complicated design).
Least Favorite: GOWK. Argh.
Seppies: Fav: Original Maul. Nuf' said.
Least Favorite: Those Lancers.
OR: Fav: Atton Rand. Such a good shooter and one of my favorite characters.
Least Fav: OR Recruit. Completely obsolete. It also bugged me that they didn't make this a male piece so I could use it as a base for a custom of my Revan as a Soldier, same goes for the sculpt of the OR Scout.
Sith: Fav: Darth Sion. I felt like WotC really nailed him and at the same time created a fun piece.
Least Favorite: Maul, SA. Fet so pointless. I would've preferred a Darth Traya in that slot. (Of course, now I've got a beautiful custom suclpt by DB53 and some great stats I made, if I do say so myself, so that part dosen't boter me anymore).
Mandos: Fav: Mandalore the Ultimate. Really cool sculpt and MC is a nasty ability.
Least Fav: Mando Soldier from BH. They just felt...sluggish to play.
NR: Fav: Corran. Good representation for the time. My gripe is the blue lightsaber instead of silver, but that's fixed easily enough.
Least Fav: Jacen Solo. Too fragile and weak besides UtF60, and that's hard to pull off.
Vong: Fav: Nom. Awesome piece.
Least Fav: Far-Outsider. They're so useless.
Fringe: Fav: Nikto Gunner on Desert Skiff. Such a fun pece.
Least Fav: The ASN Assassin Droid. Too many games were one-sided because of this guy.

Ok, Old Republic, I think Zayne Carrick is my favorite because I love the KotOR comics, and don't have much experience in the OR faction in minis. For that reason, not really any least favorite either. Sith: Darth Sidious Hologram! I can't really pick out something I don't like out of this... Mandos: Favorite is the Basilisk War Droid! Least favorite is those Taung Warriors; they don't even look like Mandos! Favorite piece in Republic is probably Obi-Wan on Boga. Such a cool piece. Or Kazdan Paratus, as I love Droids. Least favorite is Captain Rex  , or Mas Ameeda. Separatists are my favorite faction, and OF COURSE I love General Grievous, Droid Army Commander. Other faves are General Grievous, Jedi Hunter (awesome sculpt), General Grievous, Supreme Commander, General Grievous, General Grievous, Scourge of the Jedi, CHAMELEON DROIDS!, and Battle Droids. Good 'ol Battle Droids. Also like Maul, Champion of the Sith. The piece I don't like is Ventress, Strike Leader, because she is SOO ugly! Rebels.... Meh. Can I put Kazdan back in here?  . Probably K-3PO. Least favorite is Leia, Captive. SOOO terrible! Imperials! Favorite is probably Thrawn (Mitt'Rom'ney'nurudorururururururur or whatever), least favorite is probably Moff Morlish Veed. Weird name, TERRIBLE piece, especially for a VR, worst except for Leia, Captive probably. Either that or those Imperial Dignitaries! New Republic favorite is probably Grand Master Luke, because he breaks the game and I can do everything with just him. Least favorite... Leia Organa Solo, Jedi Knight. Not a nice sculpt, and not as good as Leia Skywalker... Yuuzhan Vong... Nom Anor is my favorite of course! Bombs are awesome. Least favorite... Every other Vong. Fringe... There are just SOOO many. Favorite is probably Grievous, Kaleesh Warlord (c'mon, you HAD to know it was coming!  ), or Mousies maybe, or X-1 Viper Droids, or T1-Series Bulk Loader Droids. Least favorite is probably too many to list here. Maybe poor Ewoks, that are so outclassed by the other 3 point pieces.
