Hey there bloomilk!

Been using your site the past month to look up miniatures/generally increase my knowledge of the game.

Me and my friends formed a local star wars gaming group, so I get to play minis regularly now, haha.

Anyway, we plan on doing custom miniatures that will be tourny legal for our local tournys.
I've found a cost calculator on wizards of the coast's forums, but it is pretty dated, and missing a lot of abilities/factors.

I was wondering if anyone had a current/more broad cost calculator/calculation method they wouldn't mind sharing.

Thanks for your time, have a great day.

Seperate melee and range cost calculator.
I don't have an excel program for star wars minis.

The Melee/Range calc's are ancient; noone's ever updated them as far as I know. I've got an Excel program that's not bad. It's not up to date with the V-Set SA/FP's but its not bad and you can play around with it and get it to do what you want.

Not sure how the rest of Bloomilk figures there costs out. Probably the old fashioned way I suppose.

I just eyeball it. I occasionally undercost lower-end pieces, bbut in general I've been told my costs are pretty accurate.

If you take a look at the abilities spreadsheet on the link it gives you costs for abilities. This is for the campaign edition however and I don't know how accurate it is.

For some reason it doesn't do the whole link

I don't suppose you could send me the excel program you have?

Thanks a bunch for that link, I'll show it to my friends and see if they're interested in trying it out.

Actually, I use those calculators. When I discovered them, I converted the calculators into Excel documents, and I have been updating them whenever I get the time. While they aren't anywhere close to the current game in regards to abilities and Force Powers, they have all of the basic things needed to function. I use them for all of my customs, and have become adept enough at using them that I almost always land at a good price for a figure. (A good price for casual gameplay, that is.)

The major problem with my calculators is that, well, only the melee one is actually functioning. The other three are largely neglected, as I just simply haven't had the time to update them to any reasonable degree. That's why I mainly design melee characters.

If you want, MandaloreTheEpic, I could send you the melee calculator. The others aren't worth sending -- yet.
However, I'm not entirely sure how accurate it'll be for you at first. But if you have access to the original thread, then it shouldn't be too difficult for you to figure things out.

(Also, no offense Surf_rider, but I don't really like your calculator. I think it's more personal preference than anything else.)
