"Choose 1 target character within line of sight". "Target character" can be ally or enemy and doesn't have to be the closest character when drawing the line? Just wanted to double check and have specific verification for reference purposes. Thanks in advance.

When choosing an enemy, you must still follow targetting rules. When an ally, you don't. This is like Domination.

Yes, as you do not follow targeting rules with allies.
