Sith Battle Manipulation (Force 3, usable on this character’s turn: Choose 1 target character within line of sight. Move target and all characters within 6 squares of that target up to 3 squares. This movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity. This character cannot be moved by this Force power.) I do understand the movement of the pieces can u only move them 3 squares or can u move them three squares from your target? confused on caedus

You target one character, and you move all characters within 6 squares, 3 squares. You do not move them 3 squres from your target. So lets say you target Luke Skywalker and Leia and Han Solo are within 6 squares, you may move each of those characters 3 squares in whichever direction you like.

"Choose one target character within line of sight."
Request Confirmation: I read this as SBManip follows the targeting rules, correct? But this statement would then be redundant as a target must always be in line of sight. Unless I'm missing some fruity ability that removes LoS from the targeting rules. Which is entirely possible.

Yes, it follows targetting rules.

Unless you "target" an ally right Scott, then it is LOS.

/bow to the mighty rules gods. "Within line of sight" also clarifies that there is no range like 6 squares or adjacency required.

It's simple, Target any ally that you can see, or nearest leagal target enemy that you can see. Everyone within 6 of them, you can then move them all up to 3 squares each. Line em up, and knock em down.

As far as I'm aware, you can't target an ally.

It's the same wording as "dominate" which does allow you to "target" an ally. You are correct in that you cannot target an ally with something like grenades or an attack, but this is slightly different and it works exactly like dominate as fas as how you can pick who you are using SBM on.

So if I'm choosing to target an ally, they can be anywhere on the board within line of sight? Even if there are enemies that are closer?
