Hey all! Seeing as I've finally finished up my first custom set (don't ask), I figured it would be cool to post the stats up here and ask for feedback. BigGrin Here's the link to the set's page for anyone anting to put feedback on the actual cards or whatever. http://www.bloomilk.com/Custom/Set/1141/the-coming-darkness

The proportianate amounts od ifferent rarities aren't balanced, didn't see a real need.

"I'm not a warrior, I'm a soldier. There's a difference. Warriors attack and conquer, they prey on the weak. Soldiers defend and protect the innocent—usually from warriors." -Carth Onasi

[Quick Draw is not my creation]

3. Elite Old Republic Trooper 13 OR

Careful Shot +4

Battling the forces of the Sith, these soldiers often accompany Jedi during battles.

[His abilities were based on my thinking that after the constant attacks by various Sith groups, not to mention the Mandalorians, over the decades surrounding KotOR, much of the Old Republic military would have started to adopt defensive tactics (to conserve resources).]

CE: At the end of this character's turn, 1 Unique follower within 6 squares can make 1 immediate attack at +10 Damage.

"There is no truth in the Force. But there is truth in you, exile. And that is why I chose you." ―Kreia

[The choice of Light Tutor and Dark Master together was deliberate. She always talks about how, to find truth, one must look not just to the ways of one side but at the contrast. I'm sure the choice of OR as the faction instead of Fringe will fuel a difference of opinion. I may reconsider. My reasoning was that this is Kreia not just during her travels with the Jedi Exile but also during her career as a Jedi Master.]

"I have not heard of any new apprentices being accepted for training recently. What brings you to this place, may I ask?" ―Jedi Deesra to Revan upon the latter's arrival at the Dantooine Jedi Enclave

[Revan during his training and trials on Dantooine. (Jedi Guardian, which I think is the canonical class; from Wook "Revan constructed this lightsaber during his retraining, and made it with a blue blade"). F1FR1 represents your low Force point total and how expensive it was (relatively speaking) to use powers. SL represents, obviously, the Guardian class feature. Arbiter represents him solving the murder, and Mando Hunter is due to 1) All the mandos he fought, including Sherruk and 2) You received quests to hunt the Mandos. He gives Bastila Intuition because of their shared vision (Anticipation or Sense the Future didn't seem right). I know, you're thinking Revan should have it himself. However, Bastila seemed much more able to understand the significance of the vision and act on it.]

"The Dark Side made stronger than I ever was before. I have a greater command of the Force that all of the most powerful Jedi masters..." -Bastila Shan during her time as Darth Malak's apprentice

[My opinions on ABM are well known, so here's my somewhat watered-down version. Bastila seemed like a very capable duelist, especially while serving Malak, so I hope I've gotten that across to some degree. I've kept her "aggressively costed" at 40. The problem is that most pieces above the 35 point mark won't be viable MBM or ABM-ers, since ther "job" involves them sitting on the sidelines boosting everyone else. Howver, MBM isn't her only use so 40 or so sounds doable.]

[His piece's title is from a line of Kreia's, where she suggests that Revan did not fall-rather he sacrificed himself so that others would not have to fall. An intruiging take, by a great character, on a great character, so it seemed like a good pick.]

[Tenebrous boosts Mounted Weapon pieces because of his non-Sith alter ego, the legendary starship designer Rugess Nome. He dosen't give Cunning Attack because of my custom Darth Traya's CE. "We have already found a powerful new leader, a great one but we also need our own group of Dark Jedi Knights, Imperial Jedi, who will cement our factions together and give us will to defeat the wicked and unlawful government of the New Republic and bring about the Second Imperium." ―Brakiss
[I tried to represent his status as a talented, but not necessarily exceptional duelist and Dark Side practitioner. He was known to use lightning, so that went on. Rigged Droids obviously represents his successful plan to bomb the Senate using droids manufactured at his factory and fitted to explode when ready. Arbiter represents his time settling disputes, etc, among the Imperial warlords, and TttDS and the CE represent his Shadow Academy and attempts to turn the Solo twins to the dark side.]

"I think there was a time that Solo, who had bound his conception of honor to his service to the Empire, forgot that honor could exist outside Imperial service." -Tycho Celchu
[I know Chewbacca didn’t swear a life debt to Han until right after Han left Imp service, but he began his relationship with Han towards the end of Han's imperial service and Life Debt is the best way to represent that. Plus, when I (and probably others too) think "Han in the Imperial Navy" I think "Saved Chewbacca, got life debt."]

Focused Attack (Force 2, usable only on this character's turn: This character ignores cover when determining legal targets)
"Sensors forward, Whistler. Time to remind them that trapping a Rogue dosen't make him dead, just deadlier."
[Corran at the end of X-Wing: Rogue Squadron. Camaraderie is to make the original Wedge (UH) worth using. NTMTO because he says that at least once in the novel. Furious Assault to represent his actions on Talasea inside the base. Reasons for LJM are obvious, he may not have any save abilities yet (there are many events that grant you saves anyway) but Wedge gives him Evade. Focused Attack to represent when he calms himself to focus on taking out the opposing fighters, etc; or when he convinces himself on Talasea that he won't survive but he can help his fellow Rogues to do so and becomes calm. Wingman comes from saber1, it was so perfect that I had to steal it.]
