Can you count 6 spaces from a Commander with a CE to mouse droid#1 and then another 6 spaces from mouse droid#1 to mouse droid#2 and then another 6 spaces from mouse droid #2 to a follower for purposes of benefiting from a CE?

You need only count 6 from the commander or a mouse. The mouse does not need to be within 6 of the commander.

So, a mouse can be across the board from a commander but within 6 of the follower or vise-versa?

Then, why wouldn't people just keep a mouse droid right next/adjacent to a commander and then tuck that commander in a corner? That would give the commander booming voice essentially, right?

Explain how that would give the commander Booming Voice. All a mouse droid does is 'project' the commander's CE 6 spaces from itself.

So...a mouse droid always needs to be within 6 of a follower that wants to benefit from a CE, but the mouse droid can be as far away from the commander as you want, right?

Also, does 1 mouse droid project CE's for multiple commanders?

Yes to both. Relay Orders doesn't change the range, Booming Voice does.
