Then why add another? Personally, polls are just a good place to start and have a discussion as any other thread.  If you don't like it then just ignore them...

There are too many polls on here. I can see one per week, but it seems like a new one is on here every day.
I think it might be a great idea to limit polls to their own section on the forums and keep the general section for discussion.
