I don't know how much things have changed in the print industry in the past few years but these maps are approx 21 square feet. The biggest concerns are getting them printed on a decent vinyl/banner material and having them printed at a high resolution.
Now if the map designers that would have them produced were getting them done at $2 per square foot that's $42 their cost alone. That doesn't include shipping to you (and remember these are approx 3' x 7' and will have some weight to it). That's just cost before you add in whatever cut they want to add for their design.
$75-$100 each could easily be what they would need on these to make it worth their time.
Great map though. It would be so sweet to have one for a dungeon crawl or other format for our playgroup.

lol..how do these ancient thread resurface anyway. This convo started 1 year and 7 months ago! lol just stop! There isn't a discussion to be had. It's not going to happen. The last 2 maps released have been poor investments, not to mention poor Engineer, who took a hit on the Cantina map, and the 2 of us couldnt even raise 200 bucks to get a poster printed, which by the way, He covered half the bill. Why on Gods green earth would we try to release this map in giant vinyl format? We'd have to sell 1000 of them to even make a marginal profit, and where would I store 1000 of them? In my 1100 square foot home? When this came up 1 YEAR AND 7 MONTHS AGO, it had luke warm to little interest from anyone them, 1 YEAR AND 7 MONTHS later, huge shocker here, even less interest. Some threads are meant die, bringing them back to life just ain't natural. you guys kill me. But I love you.

I'm sure he'd work something out with you! what is his bloomilk name Josh(AG7) is not coming up, FYI bannersonthecheap.com could print it and ship it for less than 40 dollars, so I am sure if somebody really wants its he could buy the pdf and and people could make their own maps that way you don't have any inventory to worry about. just a thought, granted don't know how many times I would use a map this big but it would be cool to have. P.S. sorry for beating a dead horse here, your right its staring to smell funny, just thought some people might want to know.
