I chose bane because I have used him with success in 100, and some success in 150, but for 200 Exar all the way

I say Malak, just because he doesn't cost too much to fit into a squad, will give all your other pieces more attack, and can hold his own against any beatsticks.

That was a hard choice I like to play with krayt, malak,Revan(just because hes my favorite character) and exar allot, in the end I picked Exar, in his squads he can hit hard, fast and do allot of damage, and has good range.

this is same as many arguments for pieces.
If you are asking about a single piece.... well then Exar Exar is good but to see someone run an Exar squad properly is rare. He is a finesse piece and i have seen some terrific players not run him correctly.
malak (Kotor) would be the best choice for all around help to a squad. his rangeless +4 to the squad is huge he makes so many other pieces so good.
Like Talon.... Sith Operatives and things like that.

revan is easily my favorite sith but malak is better in 100 because he doesn't cost as much and has a great commander effect, i usually put him with operatives.
in a 200 or 150 game though, i choose revan, put him with a mouse or two and his ce reaches everyone and he's got master tactition, with block and deulist and corrupt he can be a good fighter too

I'd go with Exar Kun... not mainly because of his rangeless CE for Savage, but his Force Transfer Essence can be abusable. His ability opens door for many potential abilities... for Kel-Dor Bounty Hunters, it has a nice combo, able for Kel-dor to shoot for 10, be adjacent, then blow-up for 40 for Exar's TE, then comes Exar Kun for the Triple attack on it's turn. For the cost, I believe it's pretty well-rounded... however, not many people can agree on Savage characters to have an effect on current meta. But again, Exar has a spot to be more proficient, being alive or dead, it still does something for you.

I'm guessing you mean, Darth Malak, Dark Lord of the Sith from KotoR? That is who I would choose. He is so much better than the first one and does benefit the Sith faction a little more, giving followers +4 attack. Also he has Force Stun (one of my favorite powers) and Renewal. Not as expensive as Exar who would be my 2nd choice...

Yes, Kel dors are good with him, but Rakghouls are in every one of my exar squads being at a 13 attack for a possible 120 damage, if all hit and all poisons missed, than you get unlimited rakghouls, I did use a young krayt dragon with him once, very first attack on vader he crits for 100 damage, it was great.

Most of the sith are pretty fun to play but lack support to be that great. Revan and SHAD's should not be overlooked but I had a ton of fun in casual 200pt game with malaks and tons of sith troopers with holosid against a rebel hoth army on echo base. Only unique played were malak, holosid, dodonna, hantaun and chewy of hoth.
It was so funny to keep running sith guards infront of malak to block his los. He kills the gaurd and I run up two more. Then finally nightwalker says, "you are finally out of guards who can make up infront of malak this turn". On my turn I say, "Okay, this sith guard spend for speed and moves infront of malak!"

I went with Revan, but Darth Malak, dark lord of the sith is the best imho.
