Dark armor does not work when attacked by a person with a lightsaber even if it is a non-melee attack, right?

Lightsabers only work against Dark Armor when adjacent or with Lightsaber Throw.

So if Mara Jade, Jedi is next to Vader Dark Armor won't work. If she is not adjacent, it does work.

It is hard to make the melee attack distinction because folks like Mara Jade, Jedi never actually make melee attacks even though they have lightsabers.

Glossary Text of Dark Armor

When this character would take damage, it makes a save of 11. If the save is successful, reduce the damage dealt by 10. Attacks by adjacent enemies with lightsabers, or with the Lightsaber Throw Force power, ignore this special ability. Resolve this ability only after all Bodyguard decisions have been made.

I was confused because the card darth vader, legacy of the force does not say adjacent enemies, must be an errata. Thanks Andy.

It's not errara. It's just not on the card - it is in the glossary. If you have the physical rulebook, you will see it there. It's also in the BlooMilk glossary, which generally matches the official glossary but not always. Or you can find the PDF of the rulebook here:

There's also the question of 'who has a lightsaber'. A character 'has a lightsaber' if there is one pictured on their card or if they have a Force Power with Lightsaber in its name. An 'attack with a lightsaber' is made by a character with a lightsaber that is an adjacent attack or one using Lightsaber Throw. (Or Telekinetic Combat... since its glossary entry says it works like Lightsaber Throw.)

What's the difference between an errata and a card not having the information on it? Is Thrawn's CE about switching not saying specifically it has to be two equal size characters an errata? I don't see a difference, but I guess there must be one.

An errata is an official correction that is issued because of a card misprint, something that was missing (same base size for Thrawn's swap CE), or a change to make an ability work under the rules as intended.

Glossary text is often more descriptive than the card text, to clarify interactions that may not be obvious from the wording on the card. (which is often condensed due to space limitations for example)

Likewise, sometimes the card text is more restrictive than the general glossary definition. The card can further refine the conditions for using an ability vs what is in the glossary.
