I'm sorry, this was my bad. I'm the guy in charge of doing this and I've let it slip. Life has been really busy for me, but I should've been able to find some time in there to get this done. It's probably a 12-15 hour job for each V-Set.
The good news is that it's 90% done now, though. I just have to re-alphabetize the lists with the new pieces. If only it were possible to move pieces within the extension itself, but alas, this aspect of the program is still in the stone ages...before the dark times...before the empire.

No problem, I was just curious as to when I could download the new extension. 90% done that is fantastic news! I LOVE the Vassal system and I am really enjoying the virtual sets in them, from the modified thumbnails too the great sound effects it's all good. I would love to see (hear) some more sound effects in the future, but I understand we all have busy lives. Keep up the good work!

There are sound effects now? Maybe I should try Vassal again some time.

To use a sound effect, do this: -Highlight the character -Press "[CTRL]-S"...if that character has a sound effect, it will play for you and for anyone else who is synched with your game (and who is using the most recent Mod and Ext files). My favorite is the one for the Ugnaught Demolitionist...that one and the one for R2 Astromech. Try them out! (You'll need Vassal Mod 11.0 and the 5.0 V-Set Extension files to make this work.) By the way, I'll just toss this simple request out there to people anyone who might be reading: Please don't play around with the sound effects when you're watching someone else's game, because it can be very distracting if it's spammed.

Does Vassal have a turn-based option? When I used to play on Vassal it was live, but I seldom have time for a whole game at once. One-turn-at-a-time would be ideal.

I guess you could save your game and send screenshots and saved files back and forth with your opponent via email. I know that I personally wouldn't be interested, but maybe others would.

SWMResources originally had 2 videos that explained everything. Here are 2 links, which I hope work. The first one shows how to install, the second shows how to use the new features of Mod 11.0. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JTU83IMpqsI can't emphasize this enough: You really need to follow my instructions EXACTLY if you want this to work. So when I say "Get rid of all the other extensions and vmod files on your computer"...I mean it, I really do. :) --Use Windows' Search function to find your old files and then delete them. They are usually found at c:/ProgramFiles/Vassal on most Windows computers. Delete everything...you'll be reinstalling with the new stuff when you follow my directions. --Use your Windows Control Panel to uninstall your former version of Vassal. You'll be reinstalling with the updated version (and yes, it will matter) of Vassal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJaHfm3H-8s--This one shows how to use the Vassal mod, once you've got it installed. And again, when I say that you must first have followed my first video (so that you now have version 11.0 and 5.1 installed), I really do mean it. :)
