How exactly does this special ability work, does it apply only to the character with the SA or does it apply to the entire squad. I have never played a piece with this ability but might be soon and I'd like to know. Any help would be appreciated.

It applies to the whole board (both sides). There are no critical hits in the game, so nothing that triggers off crits happens. No double damage, no Flurry attack, no Vaapad, no Deadly Attack or Vicious Attack, etc.

Flurry can still trigger off a natural 20, though.

Thank you very much, I thought that it might work kind of like a board wide "disruptive" effect but specific to crits but had no idea that it would apply to allies and enemies alike.

Actually, the Glossary Text specifically says that Flurry does not work.

True - it doesn't just suppress critical hits. It also suppresses things that trigger on a specific number. So no Flurry even on a 20, no Betrayal or Internal Strife.

Betrayl and strife both happen on a 1 not a 20 so they would both still go off.^

That to me implies Betrayl and Strife don't happen.
