Ok so apparently characters with Mounted Weapon count as non-living does that also me they are immune to Critical Hits?

They are still subject to Crits unless another ability says otherwise, just as they are subject to CEs

Non-living has nothing to do with ignoring crits. Thats specific to droids (who just so happen to also count as non-living).

well the issue was i wanted to use drain life 3 on an AT-ST
