So, the glossary I checked out here on BM says that if it's on the mini, then obviously it does (some v-set pieces would be an exception of course, and proxies for customs only the creator would know if it is intended to have an Ls or not), and if it has an ability that contains the word Lightsaber, then it also counts as having one.

Is that all there is to it? What about Durgie over there with Lightsaber Resistance? Am I missing something?

Also, this might ruin quite a few of my customs; if it is essential to have an ability with LS in the name for v-set/custom pieces to be technical, several of my characters will have to have abilities added/exchanged (AFTER I find out which have it that should, which don't have it that should and which have it that shouldn't... Oh boy... Sad)

Any help is appreciated.

Lightsaber Resistance/Lightsaber Duelist does not count for having a lightsaber. You have to have a lightsaber on the mini or a Force power with the name Lightsaber. To determine if a mini has a lightsaber, look at the card image. Some Vset pieces use proxies that have lightsabers, but have those lightsabers removed in the card image. Those pieces do not count as having a lightsaber.

So as far as v-sets it's just what is on the card, and as far as WotC minis, it's what is in their hand or a Force Power if they don't have one in their hand, and the glossary on here that says it goes for SA's is out of date (or I misread it)?

Thanks, that makes things simpler!

EDIT: OH, that's what I missed, it says 'THE Lightsaber special ability'.

For Vset cards, the Lightsaber SA or a FP with Lightsaber in the name is also sufficient. If they have that, the image doesn't necessarily have to have a lightsaber in it.

Ok, cool. So basically, it just has to have 1 or the other then.

For review, you have a lightsaber if:

1. You have a visible ignited lightsaber on the mini.
2. A FORCE POWER whose name contains Lightsaber.
3. The Lightsaber +10 special ability.
4. On V-set figures, if the lightsaber wasn't removed from the recommended mini image.

There's also Arca Jeth with the Lightsaber Wielder SA, right?
