We'll have 4 players playing tomorrow night. The other 3 are relatively new (probably fewer than 10 games played each). I want to have some pre-built squads in case they show up without squads of their own. Please sell me one of the squads you've built.
Looking for:
* Simple to play * Quick to play * Close to tier 1 * Bonus if it doesn't rely on too many staple Fringe pieces (mice/ugnaughts/etc) since I have to spread those across all of the squads that are used.

I think something like this is good right now:
--Baden POW!-- 27 Admiral Daala 21 Marn Hierogryph 16 Admiral Gilad Pellaeon 16 Grand Admiral Rulf Yage 84 Elite Scout Trooper x7 8 R7 Astromech Droid 8 Zygerrian Slaver 5 Caamasi Noble 12 Raxus Prime Trooper x3 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist (200pts. 18 activations)
You can jiggle it around a bit to use Bothan Saboteurs if you can't spare an Ugnaught and R7 for this squad. Raxus Primes deep strike with Wall Climber and a Zygerrian, and seven 50hp Elite Scout Troopers with Stealth and Evade are a pain to take down. Sharron should get some credit for this squad too, as I nabbed some of his ideas. If you draw the Lancer with Poggle Bombs (normally you find them together) you can bring in three self-destruct scrubs with Marn.

Sorry to threadjack, but am I really seeing a Baden Powell reference here?

Burn, Baby, Burn-- 55 General Obi-Wan Kenobi on Boga 23 Clone Commander Bacara 20 Captain Tarpals 16 Dr. Evazan, Galactic Criminal 77 Clone Trooper with Flamethrower x7 9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid
simple to play, tactically the clones have super stealth, so less dependent on positioning. Lots of pieces that do the same thing, so less to remember. Simple tactic, burn everything twice

I think that this is competitive..? --Battle on the Plains of Naboo--39 Quinlan Vos, Double Agent 35 Boss Nas 28 Bombad General Jar Jar Binks on Kaadu 16 Dr. Evazan, Galactic Criminal 16 Queen Amidala 54 Gungan Artillerist x 6 9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist Reinforcements: Captain Tarpals I myself haven't played it, but it seems simple enough: Bombad General allows for Accurate Cestas, Jar Jar can use Galloping Attack while negative CEs, the gungans can Mobile out to use Cestas twice and then go back into cover, Quinlan is melee interference and can be pulled out for a deep strike. This squad seems to have most of the bases covered, and thus shouldn't be too weak against any match up: has Galloping Attack, disruption of CEs (to take out Poggle bombs), anti-droid (for Lancer), melee interference, door control, deep strike.

Sorry to threadjack, but am I really seeing a Baden Powell reference here? Yup, I was never a Scout, but it seemed appropriate.

I know it's too late but here's one that is quick and pretty easy to play.
Lord Krayt Revan SL minimum 1 mouse droid plus whatever combination of Sith Recruits, Uggies, Rodian Brutes etc that you prefer.
