Week 24 starts tomorrow. Deathwielded will post a new topic once poppins88 chooses the character. Glad to have you join the contest. We are a fair and reasonable bunch so expect good criticism and lively debate.

@Deathwielded: I've been toying with creating Dun Möch for quite a while and haven't been able to lock down something I like. Your effort pointed me in a new direction and I'd love your feedback.

Dun Möch (Force 1, range 6; usable only during this character's turn: Until the start of this character's next turn, target is +4 Attack and +10 damage against this character and -4 Defense, save 11. If the target fails the save, it loses 1 Force point and this character gains 1 Force point.)

It has similar stat effects to your version. As a Force power it is limited in the number of times the character can spend Force points and requires a FP to use. However, I didn't want it to be too much of a drain on FPs to use. Allowing the user to siphon FPs upon its successful use produces the desired result and also works thematically. Thoughts?

That is the sith thinking of Dun Möch. What about a fresh take on it from the New Republic side where they use it as a trick to disguise an appearance to make the attacker halt or slow down by registering feelings within the attacker by looking like a loved one of the attacker.

Maybe the abilities could be slit into light side Dun Möch and dark side Dun Möch with the Dark side focusing on belittling the opponent (some kind of defuff) and the light side version giving an effect that would make and enemy unable to attack the lightside Dun Möch user for a round.

Sorry, I'm an ideas guy. Sometimes they are good and sometimes they are bad.... This one kind of feels bad as I feel this style was more intended for darkside use. It doesn't seem like a very noble tactic.

@donnyrides: What you describe might be differentiated as Inverse Dun Möch and reserved for Light Siders.
